Chemistry Department Library is open to the public in general for book and magazine search.
- Blue label can only be borrowed for a maximum period of time of a week.
- Green label books can only be borrowed by students, from 4 pm to 10 am from the next day.
- Red label books and magazines cant be borrowed.
- The remaining books can be borrowed and taken home, according to the following

(*) Renewable under the same terms. The Library caretaker may change that period provided the borrowing fee of the document so determines.
- To borrow a book one should present it to the librarian who will then fill an appropriate form. When returning the book one receives the duplicate of the form. While the form and the duplicate remain in the Library the borrower is responsible for the book.
- If the book is not on the shelf one should address the librarian; he/she will find out if the book is borrowed and by whom. If it is borrowed, he/she will take diligences in order to have the book returned in the maximum period of a week.
- Outside the normal working hours is forbidden to take books from the Library.
- Non-returning the books in the proper period of time will imply the loss of the right o borrow more books; if by the end of a month the book havent been returned, the reader will pay for its substitution.
